Introducing PDW CORE for the C100 Multi-Mission Quadcopter

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Performance Drone Works (PDW) is excited to announce the release of PDW CORE, a software bundle designed for the C100 multi-mission quadcopter, adding a powerful suite of new capabilities.

PDW CORE enhances operational efficiency through a touch-friendly and intuitive user interface (UI) for the PDW Ground Control Station (GCS), an advanced mission planner to rehearse complex mission operations, a proprietary flight simulator (PDW SIM) a specialized ATAK plug-in for seamless communication within the TAK network, and a Windows-compatible PDW Updater.

PDW SIM: This new flight simulator offers a realistic training experience with dynamic 3D maps built from real-world data, accurate C100 physics modeling, and simulation of operational challenges like signal interference, battery management, and environmental conditions.
Enhanced UI: A new interface that provides intuitive icons, faster access to controls, and compatibility with Android tablets, mobile devices, and various common controllers. It’s designed to scale seamlessly across various screen sizes and eliminate the need for a stylus by optimizing touch-friendly hit areas.
Mission Planner: Streamlines mission planning and execution with advanced mapping, real-time data, and tactical overlays, supporting diverse operations like reconnaissance.
Integrated ATAK Plug-in: The plug-in converts MavLink to Cursor on Target (CoT), enabling C100 operators to connect to the TAK network and maintain a real-time, common operating picture of the mission environment.
PDW Updater: This Windows-compatible tool allows remote software updates and flight log downloads across multiple systems, simplifying fleet management.
